Dr. Wermuth grew up in a family dedicated to education and athletics. Both of his parents were career public school teachers, and his father coached high school baseball and football. This environment helped shape his early interest in personal development and helping others grow.
He attended Yale University, graduating with high honors in psychology and election to Phi Beta Kappa. He later completed his medical training at Stanford University School of Medicine, specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry.
During his residency training, Dr. Wermuth discovered a deep passion for helping children and families navigate emotional and developmental challenges.
